Tasks page

The Tasks page shows all plants that need care today, grouped by location. You can also see tomorrow’s and the day after tomorrow’s tasks by clicking a different day in the top bar.

You can easily mark watering or fertilizing done either by clicking the small image below the plant’s name or by pressing the “Done” button. The Done button lets you mark both fertilizing and watering at once, and it is the recommended way to mark watering and fertilizing. Marking things done with the Done button helps keep fertilizing schedules correct when they are based on the number of waterings.

Photo updates work a little differently, and the Done button does not log them as done. This is because a photo update requires a photo from you. If a plant has watering, fertilizing, and a photo update on the same day, Done removes the watering and fertilizing tasks, but the photo update stays in the list until you add it yourself by clicking the green camera icon or adding the update from the plant page. The update must include a photo before the reminder goes away.

The badge on the Tasks tab shows the number of pending tasks.

Tasks can also be snoozed if you want to move them forward by one or more days. This helps you avoid overwatering plants because you do not have to worry about forgetting to water them later if you snooze their watering now.

Common questions

How do I mark a task as done?

Tap the Done button next to the task in the Todo view. This logs the watering or fertilizing event for that plant and resets its schedule.

Why did Done leave my photo update in the Todo view?

Done only logs quick care actions like watering and fertilizing. Photo updates need a photo from you, so Kasvia leaves them in the Tasks view until you add the update manually.

Can I snooze tasks I'm not ready to do yet?

Yes. Tap Snooze on any task to postpone it. You can also snooze all tasks of the same type at once from the Tasks view. Snoozing watering also moves fertilizing if fertilizing is scheduled by number of waterings.

Why doesn't my plant appear in the Todo view?

A plant only appears in the Tasks view if it has an active care schedule and that schedule's due date is today, tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow. In the plant's settings, make sure the schedule is set and that 'Next day' is something like tomorrow. In that case, the plant should appear in the 'tomorrow' section.
