Snooze reminders

Snoozing moves a plant’s watering day forward if the plant does not need watering yet. Snoozing helps you avoid overwatering because you can safely leave the plant unwatered without worrying that you will forget to water it later.

The plant’s watering schedule automatically adjusts to match the new watering interval, so snoozing does not break the schedule. Instead, it makes the schedule better match the plant’s current needs. That is why snoozing is worth using whenever there is even a small need for it.

You can snooze an individual plant’s task or snooze all tasks of the same type at once from the Tasks view with the “Snooze” button.

An individual task is snoozed from the same window where the task would be added, for example on the Tasks page by clicking the Watering icon and choosing “Snooze” at the top of the window that opens.

Snoozing does not log a watering or fertilizing event — it just shifts the due date forward.

If the plant’s fertilizing schedule is linked to waterings, for example “Every 3 waterings”, then snoozing watering also snoozes the linked fertilizing task.

Common questions

How do I snooze a plant's watering reminder?

In the Todo view, tap the Snooze button on the plant's task and choose how many days to move the task.

Does snoozing count as watering the plant?

No. Snoozing only shifts the due date — it does not add a watering event to the plant's history. If you watered the plant, log a watering event instead.
