Schedules

Schedules tell Kasvia how often a plant needs watering, fertilizing, or a photo update. Once set, Kasvia calculates the next due date based on the last logged event and your chosen interval, and shows overdue plants at the top of your list.

Watering schedules are free and available for every plant in your collection.

A fertilizing schedule can run either every x days, like watering, or by waterings. This means you can set fertilizing reminders for something like every third watering.

Photo update schedules make it easier to track plant growth closely because they help you remember to take photos regularly.

Fertilizing and photo update schedules are free for up to 10 plants. With Kasvia Plus, you can add them to as many plants as you like.

Common questions

How do I set up a watering schedule?

Open the plant's settings (gear icon) and go to Schedules. Tap Add schedule and choose Watering. Set the interval in days and save.

What does 'by waterings' mean for fertilizing schedules?

Instead of fertilizing every N days, you can fertilize every N waterings. For example, 'every 4 waterings' means Kasvia will remind you to fertilize on every 4th watering event. This is useful for plants that you fertilize whenever you water them anyway.

How many plants can have a fertilizing or photo update schedule?

On the free plan, up to 10 plants can have a fertilizing schedule and up to 10 can have a photo update schedule. With Kasvia Plus, there is no limit.
