Locations
Locations let you group plants by where they live: a room, a shelf, a balcony, or any label that makes sense for your space. Once plants are assigned to locations, the home plant list shows them under location headings. You can also collapse locations by clicking the heading, and Kasvia remembers collapsed locations automatically.
You can create as many locations as you like, reorder them, and use emoji in location names to make them visually distinct. Plants not assigned to a location appear under ‘Other’.
A location can be as broad or as specific as you want. For some people, “upstairs” and “downstairs” is enough, while others want to divide their plants precisely across different shelves. The level of detail depends a lot on how many plants you have and how precisely you want to organize them.
Where to find it
Locations are managed by clicking the plant's location on the plant page.
Common questions
How do I create a new location?
You can create a location when adding a new plant (choose it in the location window) or from the plant page by clicking the plant's location, or the no-location text if no location has been set.
Can I reorder my locations?
Yes. Open location management from the Plants page settings (top right, next to the search icon) and arrange them in the order you want. This order does not currently affect the Tasks page.
Can I move multiple plants to a location at once?
Yes, with Kasvia Plus you can use multi-select to move several plants to the same location in one step.
